Hi everyone,
I have an electric heat pump and live in pa. My hp is a Trane Tam7a0b30h21saa.
On the air handler circuit board I have the following wires. Black wire jumpered to w1,w2,w3, Green wire to G, Yellow wire to Y, Orange wire to O, Red wire to R, Blue wire to B, Pink wire to Y/O
on my original thermostat I had the following wires. Red wire jumpered to R,RC, Orange wire to O, Yellow wire to Y, Green wire to G, Blue wire to B, Black wire jumpered with W1, x2
I have been trying to wire the nest learning thermostat without luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@CoolingWizard I have been following some of your posts and helpful comments for others, is this something you can help me with by chance?

I just installed my system and what is strange is your O and B are separate on my system OB is one wire and its orange. This is FYI I have little HVAC experience. Your question in a web search would be "How to wire a nest thermostat with a separate O and B wire. OB by the way is the reversing valve that switches the system between Heat and Cooling.
Disclaimer: I am just trying to help based on my own experience, NOT an HVAC expert

Hi folks,
Thanks for chiming in, @Michaelmcd52.
@Linkur01, thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. Fortunately, your thermostat wires are compatible with our Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation and should be wired to the Nest Learning Thermostat as shown:
Disregard the jumper wire, as that is not needed for the Nest Thermostat. Also, here's a guide for the installation and setup of a Nest Learning Thermostat.
Let us know how that works.
Best,
Zoe
