Nest thermostat is missing it's qr code so I can't connect.

We inherited our nest thermostat from the previous tenants it works but is missing it's QR code so I can't connect. Is there a workaround?

Which model of thermostat is it?

If it's a Nest Thermostat E or Nest Learning Thermostat, the QR code and setup key are in the settings of the thermostat itself.

If it's a Nest Thermostat (2020 model), the QR code and setup key are physically printed on the back of the thermostat.
