I recently reset my network and had to update all my thermostats. Two updated fine, but the third, which is the main and controls the blower, is giving me fits. It is locked because SOMEONE....who shall remain nameless in my home, decided to put a lock on it and forgot the code. I already deleted the old setup on my phone so I have no way to unlock it. Does anyone have any idea how to get my thermostat back under my control and working? Right now it seems to have a mind of its own and is not connected to any wireless, but is locked.

Normally, when you forget the pin code, you can just the app to unlock the thermostat and then initiate a factory reset. Since you deleted the device , You will need to contact customer support, connect your thermostat to a USB and a PC, use a downloaded file from customer service to reset the thermostat.

Hey folks,
Thanks for answering, CoolingWizard.
Asm610, sorry to hear about your thermostat but thanks for reaching out. Have you had the chance to reach out to our support team for help? If not yet, do you have access to a computer? If you do, please go through the steps below:
If the Nest drive is successfully showing up on your computer, can you see a technicalinfo.PLIST file?
