Nest thermostat not connecting to Google Home app

My Nest will not connect to the Google Home app since Wi-Fi went out momentarily.  Been through setup a bunch of times and get "something went wrong" can't save your settings. It's connected to Wi-Fi and the Nest app is working fine. Just can't get it back in the Home app.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for letting us know about the Nest Thermostat not showing up in the Google Home app. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

You might have been signed in on a different email account, as you were able to see and control your thermostat in the Nest app. Verify the email account associated with the Nest app and ensure that you are also logged in with the same email account on the Google Home app. If so, try checking for other available home structures where it might be located.
