I have an old Lux thermostat, which has 6 wires including both W1 and W2 wires. I have bought a google nest thermostat which only have 1 W connector. How shall I connect the W1 and w2 wires to it? Shall I replace it with a nest learning thermostat?

As long as you do not have a Heat Pump you can put the W2 in the O/B* terminal.
Then during setup you have to tell the Nest that OB* is stage 2 heat (not a heat pump).
This will not work if you have a heat pump as the OB* will be needed for heat pump wire.
