Nest thermostat won’t connect to wifi

Power recently went off at my house, and when it came back on, my nest thermostat will no longer connect to my Wi-Fi. It’s not even discoverable when looking for networks. Every other device in my house was able to reconnect except for the thermostat. I tried resetting everything and adding the device back to the app but it still is not able to locate my network.

  1. Press the thermostat ring to open the Quick View menu.
  2. Select Settings .
  3. Turn the ring until Network appears.

Do you see the error "Error - nest.com/w5" here?

Hello folks,

I wanted to ensure that everything was covered here.

Thanks for looking into this, @David_K.

@Csqb12, I'm sorry to hear you can no longer reconnect your Nest Thermostat back to your Wi-Fi network. Have you checked if it is showing any message codes in the Network settings? If so, does it show the code asked above? Let us know so we can move forward.

Regards,

Mark
