Hi. I have just bought a google nest home and trying to migrate my existing nest account to google so I can use the nest home to control heating etc but it won’t migrate my account? Any help cheers

I’m having a similar issue. My Nest app logged me off amd I’ve reset my password about 20 times and followed all directions to migrate to google but my password reset does t work. Maybe there issues they need to fix - had anyone found a customer service phone or email?

I’ve reset my nest ap password about 20 times and I get an email confirmation easy time that it was successfully logged but when I try to log in it says my email or password is incorrect. I can’t migrate because there is a step where you must enter your nest app password and log in but again it’s giving me that my email or password is incorrect which it’s not like I said I’ve reset it like 20 times with an email confirming it’s been changed but I still can’t log. In. Does anyone know how I can call a service person for the nest app?

Thanks for these added details. 

What option are you choosing when signing into your Nest app? Is it the "Sign in with Google" or the "Sign in with Nest" at the bottom part? Have you also tried uninstalling then reinstalling your Nest app to ensure it is running on the latest version?

I reset my password again for the seventh time and used a simplified version and it worked and I can log in but this is not ideal since I should be able to use a safer password choice but it doesn’t allow it. I hate that google took over Nest and the migration is BS since you can’t opt out of the privacy requirements that you have to had over to do it. I will not be doing the migration to google log on
