Hi LarryM1, 

Thanks for reaching out. The *O/B terminal of the Nest Thermostat is responsible for the activation of either your emergency heat, humidifier, dehumidifier, or heat pump. Once your thermostat is already connected to this terminal, it will be directly configured by your Nest Thermostat, and you will have the option to configure it as well.
