Hello BW27,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community Forum. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

Your conventional unit works with any Nest Thermostat model. So please make sure to follow the same wiring for the correct configuration.

• Green wire > G terminal (Fan)
• White wire > W/W1 terminal (Heat)
• Blue wire > Y/Y1 terminal (Cool)
• Red wire > R/Rc/Rh terminal (Power)

Also, the Nest Thermostats don't use jumper wire, so you no longer need to connect it. Let me know if you have more questions.
