Nest thermostat

We have frequent power outages and the nest loses connectivity to the internet. When this happens I can’t reset from a remote location.  Are there any solutions. Someone suggested attaching a UBS to my router so it doesn’t lose power and I’d stay connected.  Almost all the power outages are very short duration.  Anybody have a suggestion?

Hi Sborgst1,

Thanks for reaching out. If your router uses 5 Volts and can be connected with a Micro USB or Type C connector then you could directly connect it to a power bank. Also, it would be best if you contact your ISP so they can provide more option for you.

Thanks,

Jennifer
