Nest thermostat

Hi I recently installed my nest thermostat gen 3 and I am have trouble completing setup. When I get to the room selection of where the thermostat is located my screen freezes up and won’t finish the setup. I have tried to reload the nest app and have waited until it freezes and it says ( something went wrong) not sure what to do from here?

Yikes! I'm sorry for the inconvenience you're having by adding your Nest Thermostat to the Nest app.

Our team is aware of the Nest app that freezes issues wherein it gets stuck on choosing the location page. We're already on top of this and working on a fix. In the meantime, please share with us the make, model, and OS version of the phone you're using for the setup. Also, try reinstalling the app and making another attempt at adding your thermostat, and wait for 3-5 minutes to stay on the page.
