My nest is not able to update beyond 5.9.5-2
It says no updaye available.
What am i doing wrong?

I have exactly the same issue, will not upgrade beyond 5.9.5-2. I would guess that the code has branched and the version 5 branch is only receiving bug fixes, the version 6 branch is perhaps for later hardware. In which case 5.9.5-2 is the latest fix for my hardware. If this is the case then this should be made clear.

I have the same issue I'm living in Belgium.
Disconnected my Google account and reconnected. Reset the networkconnection restart the device. Nothing helped. Last uodat is 5.9.5-2

Thanks for letting us know. Could you try to set your Nest Thermostat to 'Off' mode then update your device?

You mean heating to "off"?
It is off at this moment and says the software is up to date...

I had contact. Seems like my thermostat is up to date according support.
because i am in europe .
Funny that all versions above mine dont apply to the european market.
