Hello,
Nest won't accept my primary gmail account (Google Workspace user). It keep telling me Google Wokspace is for businesses but in my case it's not. It's my primary email and I have no intention of setting up a secondary gmail account JUST to use NEST. Is there a fix for this or is this going to force me off the NEST on onto a competing thermastat??? Please help I don't want to switch as my nest works perfectly.
Thank You,
Derek

You can wait to see if you get a response from Google Nest folks, but there have been posts in this forum for years indicating that you have to have a personal gmail account for Google Nest devices.
The Help topic below says:
"Note: Some Google Home app features are not available for Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) accounts. To access all Google Home app features available in your country, link a personal Gmail account instead."

I understand. I will wait for their reply as my personal email IS a google workspace email.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for posting. @MplsCustomer Thanks so much for helping out by sending information about the Google Workspace account. That's definitely helpful for the community! @dsmigelski We hope the article you found was helpful in answering your question about the Google Workspace account. In this case, we recommend creating a Gmail account to get all your devices working and access to all Google Home app features available in your country.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Jenny
