It's been working fine for over a year.. an now it's suddenly won't connect to the heatlink, ive restarted both heatlink an thermostat.. ive followed all the actions on the truoble shooting page.... the thermostat is now nex to the heatlink, but still not connecting..  is there anything else I can do.. or do I have to replace the whole unit.. . Ill hav to downgrade if that's the case.

I assume your setup was working wireless, is that correct?

The easy way to get the setup working again is a temporary cable connection. You need to wire T1&T2  connections from Heat Link to T1&T2 on the base plate. This should work and get the wireless connection back. You only need to connect temporarily and this should get the wireless connection back.
