My nest thermostat heats up the house to the set temperature and switches off and does not maintain the set temperature. You have to then set a higher temperature to get the boiler to come on again. This is happening constantly. Any help or advise appreciated.

I have come across this several times with the display in a poor location. Any draughts or hot air movement can give the thermostat incorrect information. Check to make sure the display is located away from any heat source, ie. Radiators is a common one. The display will sense the heat in that area, but may not be the coldest room in the house. Does that make sense?

Thanks for your response and I can see how that works m. However that is not the case for my situation. The thermostat used to work perfectly prior to this winter season. It just needs to maintain the set temperature around the house.
