I am trying to install a nest thermostat (not the Learning or E, just the standard Nest). It has just 6 wiring ports, there isn't a separate rH amd RC, just R. The furnace wiring doesn't have a C wire at all (picture below). I tried connecting the nest power connector to both the T wires and it didn't work for either. I tried a 24v power adapter but received an email saying it could damage the thermostat. Please help, thank you.

Hello Kingston73,
Thank you for taking the time in letting us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.
To determine your systems' compatibility, do you mind if I ask you to send us a picture of your previous thermostat showing the wires set up and the wiring configuration from your system control board? Also, please have a look at this guide to identify a thermostat wire that might help.
I'll look forward for your response.
Best regards,
Mark

Hey Kingston73,
Thanks for getting back to us.
The T terminals on your system are for the outdoor temperature sensor, which Nest thermostats don't need. In most cases, Google Nest thermostats can charge their built-in battery using the heating and cooling wires.
You can try installing your Nest Thermostat E without the Nest Power Connector and see if you have power issues. If none, you can leave it as it is.
Keep me posted on how it goes.
Best regards,
Mark

I did try installing with just the R and W wire and no power connector but Nest told me I needed the power connector. Looking at the furnace connections I don't know where I would connect the PowerConnector's C wire?

Hi Kingston73,
Thanks for letting me know that you've tried it already.
It appears that you will need to connect the Nest Power Connector to your HVAC system's control panel. It is usually located inside the system or on your fan. You might find similar terminals where the wires are connected. Here are some references to help you install your new Nest Power Connector on your HVAC system.
