Recently my AC failed, but kept running. The house reached 92 degrees (we are in Florida). I just happened to check the house temperate on the Nest app as we were away for the day. I estimate the AC was running for about 10 hours in this condition. I received no alerts. From my reading I see that at least one alert should have been sent that the AC was running, but not cooling. The safety temperature cannot be set below 95 so I would not have gotten that alert. I see that there are various conditions that send alerts, but I don't get any. When I look under Notifications the only item is a change filter reminder. I verified under my phone notifications that I am set to receive notifications from both Nest and Google Home. How can I get alert notifications on failures? Also, assuming I get the alert notifications working, I would really like to know the house is heating up before 95 degrees. Is this possible?
