Password recovery verification vide not received

Hi there

I have been trying to reset my NEST password as I seem not to remember my old one (it used to be saved but seems to not anymore). Anyway, I can request a new password,  receive an email, can set the new password, but do not receive the verification code to my mobile number, despite it still being the same. I can't find any alternative ways to receive a verification. Urgent help please  as I would really like to adjust my heating while away, thank you!

Hello YP,

 

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you're having when signing in to the Nest App, but I'm happy to help.

 

Give these steps a try:

 

  • Uninstall and reinstall the Nest App.
  • Reboot your phone for at least a minute.
  • Try "Sign in with Google" and "Sign in with Nest" options.
    • Make sure to use the email account associated to your Nest device.
  • Then, try forgetting the password again.

 

Please let me know if that helps, or if the issue still persists.
