We have a double thermostat set up at our house (one up stairs one downstairs) after installing the first Nest thermostat upstairs the display shows the N260 error code. I have plans to install the power connector but I was wondering will I need to purchase two power connectors in order for the new Nest thermostats to operate properly? Or will one C wire suffice for both thermostats?

Hey there,
Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. If you are getting a N260 error code, a C wire or Nest Power Connector is recommended for your Nest thermostat. Are you getting the same error code on the other device? If so, you may need to install 2 Nest Power Connectors. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
Best regards,
Jake

Thank you for your response. I have not installed my second thermostat yet, still have to place my order for the power connectors. Just watched the install video for the power connector and my concern is what will the wiring diagram look like for the two power connectors? I would imagine one would plug in as the video shows but not to sure about the second one?

Hello there,
I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Thanks for helping, Jake.
@RCRamirez, I'd love to know more about this. Could you share a photo of your system's control panel where the wires from your thermostat are connected? So we can see how the Nest Power Connector can be labeled.
I'll look forward to your response.
Regards,
Mark
