Hi, my nest thermostat stopped working today. Before it died completely It showed fault code h72.
we then noticed there were no lights on the heat link, and pressing and holding the button for 20 secs does nothing either. We have come to the conclusion that there is a fault with the Heat Link, as it does not come on although there is power going to it. What can I try next? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, Mag.

There are some things you can check (see the "H2, H72 or H152" section):

If you're still experiencing issues after that, possibly the heat link has gone faulty.

Thank you very much David. I had done all the checks for the code H 72, but then the nest went blank. The lights on the heat link were off too. So I guessed the link was faulty.
I followed the next steps and choose to get a phone call, and was called in seconds. I am booked in with someone from Boxt, and hope to have the repair done very soon.
I very much appreciate your help, especially the tip in suggestion 3. To click other! Otherwise I would still be going round in circles..
Thanks again,
Mag. 😊

Thanks for all your help. Boxt engineer came and had the problem sorted in 15 minutes. Heating is up and running again. The heat link was faulty.
Thanks to Google Nest for the replacement heat link, with no charge. 😊
