Question on Jumper Y and W wiring.

Hello,

Trying to install GA-02082-US

There is jumper on Y and W, I am not sure which one should be on used on the Nest.
Do I plug it W or Y? Do I need to put a jumper on the Nest?

My current wiring is the following

Rc and Rh are jumpered and Red Wire is on Rh
B has no wire connection
O has White Wire
Y and W are jumpered and Yellow Wire is on Y
G has Green Wire
C has Blue Wire

You put yellow wire to Y or Y1 on nest you don’t need the jumpers between Y & W nest will recognize your system you need to configure it as a heat pump. Good luck.

HVAC,

Thanks in advance for you help.

So nothing connected to W on the Nest.

On the Nest, I would need to connect in the following way?

Y - Connect the Yellow Wire
C - Connect the Blue Wire
W - No Wire Connect

G - Connect the Green Wire
R - Connect the Red Wire
OB - Connect the White Wire

You got it 👍 good luck

Hi folks,

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'd like to take a closer look at it. Could you please share with us the photo of the wires connected to your system's control board? It will help us to ensure the wiring configuration of your system.

Also, you can visit this support article for more information.

I appreciate your help, @HVAC.

Best,

Jenelyn
