R to RC jumper 3 wire system

Csled

My old thermostat was wired with a W G R with a jumper to RC. When I run through the set up, it tells me to remove the jumper cable. So I did, but I’ve lost my ability to control the fan. Attaching a photo for reference. It’s a propane system.

Hi Csled,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with controlling your fan. You should still have an option to control it without having a jumper to the R terminals. Could you check the equipment tab on your Nest Thermostat to check if your Nest Thermostat is detecting your fan wire?

Thanks,

Edward
