Hi - we currently have a Hive thermostat with the hub. In our old property we had a Google Nest which we both preferred.
To replace the Hive with the Nest, is it as easy as simply disconnecting the old Hive receiver from the boiler, wiring the Heat Link in, plugging the Nest thermostat and then connect them to the wifi? Or am I being to simplistic (and hopeful!)?
Apologies if this has been covered before - I did a quick search but couldn't find anything.
Many thanks

Hi @Lerxst. Just checking in, how's it going with the thermostat? Is there anything else we can assist you with at the moment?

Hi, I have just replaced my hive receiver with a nest receiver and mirrored the 4 wires (Live, Neutral, heating NO and hot water NO) for my system boiler ( hot water tank upstairs). The receiver turns on, the remote thermostat connects, but when I, for example, boost my hot water, nothing happens. Should there be more than 4 wires to connect?

Fixed it! Just searched YouTube. Looks like I needed a jumper to connect live to the two common terminals. Did that and all working.

Hi hoffmeister,
Happy to hear that! I appreciate the gesture. It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will be locking this in 24 hours if we don't hear back from you again. Feel free to start a new thread, and we'll be happy to help.
All the best,
Zoe
