Got a new phone and it won’t connect but nest says I’m connected. Pls help. Can’t control from phone now

Thanks for posting and sorry for the delay.
A few questions — are you logged into your new phone's Nest app using the same email address you've used to set up your Nest thermostat? If yes, could you try logging out then logging back in? Also, are you signing in using the "Sign in with Google" option or the " Sign in with Nest" one?
Tell me more and I'll be more than glad to dig deeper into it.
