Rush hour rewarss

For the love of everything that is holy why in gods name can I not unenroll in rush hour rewards? I called my utility provider who said i need to reach out to google who only ever says they are having higher than normal call volumes so i can never get through. Just let me cancel this!!!

I gave up on Google and just did a factory reset on my thermostat. This ended the rush hour. 

confirmed to fix the issue, but you need to start over with schedules, etc.
