Why does my nest thermostat keep going offline?

Can someone please help! My nest thermostat keeps going offline. I make sure the batteries are always fresh and I’m able to use the actual thermostat. But the app will go offline every once in a while.. it’s so annoying because I have never been able to get ahold of nest.. And google home is no help! I just want to speak to an actual person that can help and walk me through it!
