I understand that support is ending for early Nest Thermostats.
I think there is an offer for a 50% discount for a replacement product (TADO). I may have been sent an email with this offer and deleted it. Can someone advice if there is another way of getting the discount code?

i have one of the early generation nest thermostat thats being unsupported.
i.have to say im not happy about this as my nest is working perfectly ....support being discontinued is not what I and many others signed up for when we first purchased the nest before google took over.
anyway please could you help.me with the discount information

I have completed the form, but I would rather we were able to continue with the Nest app. My system works perfectly, saves me money and keeps my house warm.

I received the mail form Google bout the Nest offer... but the link is not working. After i put the Tado X thermostat startet kit in the cart... the price stays unaltered (199€) without the 50% discount ... 😞

I have the exact same issue. The discount worked when I initially clicked the link, but I didn't make a purchase at that time. When I clicked in next time, no discount appears 😔

so i recieved and email from Bob outlining that its actually just the app thats being discontinued. he gave the impression I would still.be able to remote control my thermostat from google home if I was away is this actually the case?
I tried to see.my thermostat in google.home but its not there. I followed the instructions as best I could but to no avail. please advise

Thanks for replying to this post. Regarding your question, only the Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd generation or later) and the Nest Thermostat E will be compatible for use within the Google Home app, provided you migrate your Nest Account to a Google Account.
Please note that the Nest Learning Thermostat (1st and 2nd gen) will no longer connect to or work within the Google Nest app or Google Home app starting on October 25, 2025. However, you will still be able to control your thermostat directly on the device itself.
