I just wanted to say that the information that allowed me to fix the issue with my temperature sensor not connecting to my Nest Learning Thermostat was not found in the standard help/trouble-shooting information but instead in a community Q/A thread.
I had changed the wireless access point in my apartment and so change it in the Nest Learning Thermostat also. When I did this, my remote temperature sensor could no longer be seen. When I attempted to reconnect it repeatedly, it failed. The standard Help information did not go beyond this point, but a community Q/A thread shared that I needed to go to the Learning Thermostat and reset it, then remove the battery of the temp. sensor and try again. This worked. I think Google should add this piece to their standard trouble-shooting information about the temperature sensor so users don't have to go searching the community pages like I and likely many others have had to do.
