Thermostat App Offline

Has Nest come up with a solution to their app regarding it being offline.  I have tried everything in their troubleshooting instructions.  My thermostat is online, but app shows offline.  I have read that many users have this issue with no solution from Nest.

I am sure puzzled how some of you have this problem and I have never had this problem.  My network WiFi router uses a reserved address for my Nest Thermostat. This way if the power ever fails I never have any DHCP lease issues.

@Rebam2

How is the Google Nest Thermostat wired?

Does it have a C wire?

If not, then that is probably your problem.

Hello folks,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Thanks for the input, @CoolingWizard and @Patrick_Caezza.

@Rebam2, how's it going? I appreciate all the steps you've taken. A power-related report or a network environment could be the reason why the Nest Thermostat went offline. But we'd love to know more about this.

In addition to what was mentioned above, how far away is your thermostat from your router? Were there any nearby appliances that might interfere with the signal? Also, what type of Nest Thermostat do you have?

I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,
Mark
