Hi,
i am trying to connect my thermostat to my wifi and it comes up with the TD006 (6007) issue.
i have split my wifi to have 2.4hz and 5hz as i know the smart devices work better on 2.4 but this has not made any difference. i gather that it could be the IPv6 vs the IPv4 matter that is the issue. is this correct and does anyone know which is best for the thermostat E as Google does not give any indication on this and i cannot find any relevant info suggestion anything?

By way of update i had a call with Paola from Google to try and resolve the matter, she was fantastic and we tried a number of options. It would seem the thermostat is the issue and as such i will be getting a replacement.

You are going to want to make sure your router supports IPV6 and make sure that your router doesn't have wireless isolation turned on. Also, is your Wi-Fi Name/Password for both the bands the same? Sometimes its a hit or miss for the nest to find the 2.4ghz Wi-Fi network if they're the same name.

Hi Jeran,
so the issue continues, i can confirm that it is IPv6 that i am on. i have also split the line to have 24ghz and 5ghz, tried connecting to the 2.4ghz numerous times, reset the router etc and still nothing. i then spoke with google on a call and they advised to check that i was running 802.11 b/g/n so i called my ISP and they confirmed that i am on this as a standard. it still wont work.
as such i suspect that potentially the thermostat is faulty and i will need to see what google will do to assist me with that. hoping all ok as i bought it through the google store.
thanks,
Kyle
