Thermostat E

I am installing a next Thermostat E in the UK.

it is replacing a thermostat that has the following wires.

NO - grey wire

COM - black wire

L - brown wire
N - blue wire.

On the Nest thermostat I have the following:

C

NO

FP

OT1

OT2

I assume the grey cable in ‘NO’ in the old thermostat will go in ‘NO’ in the nest.

COM in the old to C in the new.

what do I do with the ‘L’ & ‘N’ cables?

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! I'll leave you an article regarding the Nest Thermostat E wiring. But on your Heat Link you'll need only 2 wires, NO and C / OT1 and OT2 if your boiler si with OpenTherm.
