Thermostat PIN

Last night I tried to turn on my thermostat by using the Nest app on my phone but it hanged there for ages. I tried to turn the heating on with the thermostat but it is locked and asks for a PIN that I don't know.

Hey Dave10, 

Sorry to hear about what happened to your Nest app and thermostat as well as for the delayed response. 

Are you still unable to control your thermostat via your Nest app? If yes, have you tried connecting your phone to another network like a mobile hotspot if available? You might also need to reboot your phone to have a fresh start. If there's no difference, try uninstalling then reinstalling your Nest app.
