Thermostat locked

I recently had a power cut - since then my  nest thermostat has power but is frozen with a rectangle and home icon - my app will not now connect to it  - any help or advise please

Sorry to hear about your Nest thermostat but help's here. 

What type of Nest thermostat is this? Have you tried manually restarting it by following the steps here: https://bit.ly/3z698uB If not yet, please give that a shot then observe how it goes.

Thank you for replying, I had no luck with my thermostat, it was locked so had to be replaced
