Hi everyone,
My thermostat is saying it’s 25 degrees in the house when it’s actually far less (it’s very cold as the heating is not on and it is -1 outside, so likely under 17 degrees inside).
The thermostat was just propped up on a table in the office which is not in the sun, and is a cool room. Temperature has remained high when I’ve moved the thermostat elsewhere.
Means the heating isn’t coming on as per the schedule as it doesn’t think it needs to.
I’ve tried re-setting.. any ideas?! TIA

Hello @Riachalder,
Thanks for reaching out. From what you described, this is most likely a temperature sensor issue. You can refer to this troubleshooting guide, which will help you troubleshoot this issue more.
Hope that helps! 🙂

@listairee @Thanks but I’ve already gone through all of the suggestions on there and it’s not any of them. Any other ideas? Is it possible to get a refund for this awful product as well as to cover the cost of installation from Google? It’s been no end of trouble

I'm having the same problem, and there is also this topic with more than 40 similar cases. Followed the troubleshooting guide to no avail. Is there a recall for these Learning Thermostats with the temperature sensor issue?
