I'm using https://home.nest.com/ webpage to set and change the thermostat schedule. However, one day later I notice that the schedule that was modified online was not in sync with the thermostat or the android app. When I examined this closer it appears that changes are not synced to the actual values. 19.5deg C for example which I set online, is synced to 20deg C on the thermostat and in the Android app. But more strangely, this is not for all days. Sometimes it does sync, ans sometimes it is not.

Is this a bug in the app/online form (for example, rounding issue from F to C and vv)?

Hi Peter2134,
Thanks for bringing this up to us and we're sorry for the delay.
The temperature you see on your Nest thermostat screen and in the app is rounded to the nearest 1°F (0.5°C). Your thermostat uses the unrounded temperature to determine when to turn on your system. So the temperature you see on your thermostat or in the app might change by a few degrees before your system turns on.
That said, all Nest thermostats have multiple temperature sensors that take very precise readings. You can see the unrounded ambient temperature (to the tenth of a degree) : on your Nest Thermostat, go to Settings
Technical Info
Sensors.
Best regards,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,
Thank you for your reply. Your clarification is welcome, but does not answer my question. Enabling or disabling the heating based on the unrounded real temperatures obviously provide a better scenario. My question did not involve the real temperature of the thermostat.
The fact is that the values of exactly the same feature in the web app and mobile app do not sync as it should be. Either the sync is not working correctly, or the rounding algorithm for the web app and the mobile app are different.
