Hi All. Just wondering if anyone can confirm if the Nest is compatible with my heating system.

have a red wire connected to the RH1 slot, a white wire connected to the W/B slot and a red jumper connected to RH and RC.

the compatibility chart does not include the RH1 slot.

thanks in advance.

Trabeted,

can you take a picture of the thermostat and its backplate showing the wire connections?

Hi all,

I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Thanks for assisting, Ken.

@Trabeated, Nest Thermostats don’t use jumper wires, but if your current thermostat has a jumper wire, your system may still be Nest compatible. Follow the wiring diagram from your thermostat, with the white wire connected to the W terminal and the red wire connected to the Rc/R terminal on Nest Thermostats.

Feel free to let us know if you have more questions in mind.

Best regards,

Mark
