Thermostat wiring diagram with 5 wire

Hi there looking for some help wiring a 3rd gen nest thermostat 

I don’t have a old thermostat to work off I have a picture of the fau that was wired before also has a heat pump thanks in advance

OK do you see the red and white wire that’s going off to the left side? That is going to the outdoor unit to turn on the compressor however, there’s no wire there for the heat pump reversing valve.  The other cable is from your thermostat you have a red wire on R, a green wire on G, a white wire on W, a yellow wire on Y, and a blue wire on C.

. Then there is a brown wire that’s not being used. In order to install that heat pump they would’ve had to install a new thermostat cable between the furnace and the outdoor unit which had at least three conductors. What goes out there is a common, and a Y wire, and when they need to switch the mode, there will be a wire going from O/B.

do you need to do is go get another picture of the furnace now that the heat pump has been installed.
