Transferring Nest to New Owner

I saw that once we are ready to move from our home, I can delete the Nest thermostat and than reset it to factory default. We pay an annual fee. How do I cancel my account? Do I receive a refund for the unearned balance?

Refunding will depend on where you purchased the Nest Aware subscription. See Nest Aware subscription purchased from a partner - iPhone & iPad - Google Nest Help There are helpful links on that page so you can cancel and contact about the prorated amounts.
