This is my 2nd Nest, the first was replaced as it was faulty. Suddenly no usage is showing on the Nest app even if I expand each day, however usage is showing on the thermostat itself. I have had 2 separate calls with customer service. On today’s call I was told this is a known issue (of some months) and there is no imminent solution if there ever will be one. As I use the Nest remotely and have had issues with it not turning the heating on when it should, I rely heavily on seeing usage to know it has been heating the house, especially now winter is coming on. If I see no usage, I have to get some one to drive an hour to the house and an hour back to ensure the heating has been turned on. My question, is there really no fix in sight for this problem? I was also amazed to hear from the same customer service person that Google Nest do not have a complaints department - amazing in this day and age.
