W/E wire

 Hi, I am trying to install my neat thermostat but I have one of my wire with W/E name.. what i am supposed to do?

Hi Tzapata,

 

Sorry for the late response here, but I wanted to jump in and address your question. The W denotes that it's the heat and the E is for the emergency heat control. Sometimes one terminal can be used for both purposes. We have an article that show what these wiring labels mean for further reference. You can find that here: https://bit.ly/3PTPp7J.
