New thermostat installed in August. Now it’s October and the thermostat has a W5 error code. Have tried restarting a couple times. Entering the network, installing from phone. None work. Any ideas?

Are you saying a brand new thermostat?
Try reset network a couple of times
I would then try a reset all settings, and see if that works.
