Why isnt my system compatible?

I just purchased a nest and the app says my system is not compatible but it is a brand new HVAC and it is not high voltage. Can anyone fill me in on why my system isn't compatible? Bonus points if you a know a way to make it compatible.

Your thermostat is compatible with any of the nest thermostats.

I'm going to guess that you have the Google Nest Thermostat, so try this

Blue - C to C

Orange - O to */OB

White - W/E to W (jumper to W2 no needed) (Set as AUX heat)

Yellow - Y to Y

Green - G to G

Red - R to R

When the app asks which wires do you have, select these.

W/W1, T/Y1, G/G1, R, C, and O

I'm having a similar issue .. The online Nest Compatibility Checker indicates that my system is compatible, but after the product was delivered, the Nest App on my phone said it wasn't.  I just moved into this house .. the system is not new.

My existing thermostat has the following labels with wires connected:

RC - A red jumper wire connects this terminal to RH.

RH - A red jumper wire connects this terminal to RC.

Y - A blue wire

G - A green wire

W - A white wire

Somewhere prior to trying the installation, I read that based on my configuration, I have a dual transformer system.

The nest thermostat that was delivered has the following terminals: Y, C, W, G, R, OB

Any advice/ideas?

So I went through the set up and got a message that none of the wires were connected then a message that the c wire wasn’t getting power. All of the wires were in. I turned the power off and on again. Got the same message.

Based on your wiring configurations, it looks like your system is compatible with the Nest Thermostat. You could also check this online compatibility checker for further help.
