I have a trane ac xl16i with a gas heater. Can I use a Nest thermostat? I used the compatibility checker and it said it may work. I don’t have a C wire. My wires are below
Y2 blue wire. R red wire. W1 white wire. Y yellow wire. G green wire
When I look at the installation video online there are places on the nest for y, c, w g, r and ob wires, since my current system has a blue wire going to y2 would the blue wire for installation go to the ob
My ac unit has a 2-stage scroll climatuff compressor.

Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. Fortunately, your thermostat wires are compatible with our Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation only and should be wired to the Nest Learning Thermostat base as shown:
