Hello Djperry,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community Forum. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

Your thermostat has a standard wiring setup, so it should be Nest-compatible unless there is an incorrect wiring configuration or setup. To ensure your system's compatibility, please share with us a photo of your Nest Thermostat's wiring and gather the make and model of your HVAC system. Also, tell me more about what happened after the installation—if it didn't activate your system or if you encountered any power issues.

I'll look forward to your response.

Regards,
Mark

Thank you for your time…It is a Bryant
Model # 383KAV060155…picture of Nest wiring included.
When getting to the “test system” part of setup it would not turn on fan, cooling or heating system. I did shut off power to thermostat when installing and also reinstalled old thermostat and system worked fine.

Thank you

Hey there,

Got it. Right after the installation, make sure to turn on the power from your HVAC system at the breaker so, when proceeding with the initial setup, your thermostat will detect all wires connected. If so, you should be able to complete the setup even without testing the equipment. Have you tried activating its fan, heat, and cool after the setup? Did you notice any odd behaviors when activating it? Also, does it show any wiring reports or message codes?

Keep me posted.

Best,
Mark

I finished set up ( bypassed test equipment ) as you suggested. Seems to be working fine . Thank you!!
