Will this wiring transfer to the nest?

All look good except for that little black jumper wire between Y2 & W2 that’s not going to be compatible on nest but you may not need it. Hope that helps. Good luck.

Hi folks,

Thanks for posting in the Google Nest Community forum. I'm sorry for the delay. It looks like you have a heat pump system. Your wiring is compatible with the Nest Thermostats. You can visit this link for more information.

You can follow this wiring guide:

For Nest Learning Thermostat:

  • Y1 - Yellow (Cooling)
  • W2 Aux - White (Auxiliary)
  • G - Green (Fan)
  • C - Blue (Common)
  • OB - Orange (Reversing Valve)
  • RC/RH - Red (Power)

For Nest Thermostat E:

  • Y1 - Yellow (Cooling)
  • W1 - White (Auxiliary)
  • G - Green (Fan)
  • C - Blue (Common)
  • *OB - Orange (Reversing Valve)
  • R - Red (Power)

For Nest Thermostat 2020:

  • Y - Yellow (Cooling)
  • W - White (Auxiliary)
  • G - Green (Fan)
  • C - Blue (Common)
  • *OB - Orange (Reversing Valve)
  • R - Red (Power)

I appreciate your input, @HVAC.

Best,

Jenelyn
