I have a Honeywell thermostat with seven wires for a heat pump.  It has two wires - black and white - going into W2 (Aux/E).  The red has a jumper from Rc to R.  I know I don’t need jumper but how do I wire this? Where do black and white wires go? Help please.

@vgmyers7  I am sorry for the delay in responding.
Since you have a heat pump you have Auxiliary Heat wired with two conductors. The Nest can only accept a single conductor per terminal location.  The only way we can make sure is to wire to an Nest Learning Thermostat as Aux Heat and Emergency Heat.  Your thermostat should look like this:

Normally, a Nest Pro would be needed to configure this specific configuration.  When you set this up your terminals in use are Rc, C, Y1, W2/AUX, E, OB, G. The Nest configurator will use the * terminal for E. Follow the installation process wiring your Nest as above.  We need to see if the NEST OS software has advanced enough to determine this configuration.  If it does not, just reach out here using @CoolingWizard
