Hi @Djv1955,
Thanks for reaching out and providing detailed information. I understand that when you mount your Nest thermostat to the wall, you won't be able to see the screen. I'm here to help you find a solution together.
To assist you further, please attempt the following questions:
- What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
- When did the issue first occur?
- If the thermostat was recently installed, what is the make and model of your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment?
- Are the power breakers on, and do you receive power to your home?
- Is the thermostat's display seated properly?
- Are all the wires of your thermostat seated firmly in its terminals (with no loose or exposed wires)?
- Do you see a led light on your Nest thermostat? If so, what is the color of the LED light?
- Can you send me a photo of your Nest thermostat?
In the meantime, you can do this basic troubleshooting.
- Check if your Nest thermostat wires are secured in their terminal and all the buttons are down.
- Ensure the connector pins are straight and the wires are securely connected to their terminals.
Please keep me posted and let me know how it goes.
Warm regards,
Jeremy.
