Getting error "Your thermostat needs to shut down to recharge its battery". and the black screen. Thermostat completely black or off. When charge from USB green light blinks and then it says to place back on device. but there it again shuts down. Question: Is the battery dead and not storing charge? My Nest is 5-6 yrs old almost. any advise is helpful.
