I've just attempted to install my thermostat.
It keeps saying "no power" and "y c w g r" not detected.
I've turned the breaker off. Waited. Turned it back on and re-attempted the setup thru Google Home app, with the same results.
I cannot get it to recognize the c wire. Or connect to the wifi.
Any help would be appreciated.

There's some good steps to try for this here:

and unfortunately i cannot access any settings on the thermostat cause it won't connect.

Strange that's it's not detecting any of your wires. Has it ever worked or does it always display that error? Do you know what gauge wire it is? Anything smaller than 22 gauge wire could be too thin for Nest Thermostat to detect.

It hasn't connected since I purchased it. Just throws that error.
I believe the gauge is not too small. It appears to fit in the connectors pretty well.

Let me ask a community specialist if there's any further troubleshooting options or steps we can try here.

Hello there,
Thanks for helping here, @David_K.
@sviscarra, It's possible that the system won't supply the thermostat or a particular wire with any power at all, or the common wire may not be properly grounded. But I wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Please give these steps a try:
Please note that you should turn off the power to your HVAC unit at the breaker before touching the wires and let us know how it goes.
Regards,
Mark
