It's been over a month and we're using an old mercury thermostat 😞

Google's customer support is complete and utter trash. You have to keep hitting them up for them to even message you back if they even do. I had to file a BBB request for them to get back with me for my issues. I made a complaint and literally the next day someone from Google contacted me. Pretty disgusting how bad Google's customer support is.
